Abstract
E-learning is self-paced, provides consistent content, faster and works anywhere and at anytime for learners in institution of higher education. Courses in various fields are offered online, students can enroll for a course through internet. Lecturers and students are able to share online course materials which include notes, assignments and other multimedia contents. In e-learning institutions, online teaching/learning systems are a key component of their education systems. For a number of the higher education institutions, a well-established online teaching/learning system is their lifeline for keeping their classes running. This paper intended to analyze the role of ICT into teaching and learning method through e-learning. The proposed solution is to implement a blending teaching method while besides the existing face-to-face method an e-learning system is also deemed useful.
